Spring 2023
An almuerzo conversation in Seville
Andrea and Hugo, frustrated after a six-month data-sharing project that produced no shared data, sketch what eventually becomes the Doppel Engine on a napkin.
Autumn 2023
The first doppel
A prototype trained over a 12-table hospital schema produces synthetic admissions a clinician later mistakes for the real thing.
Spring 2024
Seed round closed
€4.2M led by a privacy-focused European fund, with participation from operators at every company on the home-page logo wall.
Autumn 2024
Studio launched
The point-and-click version of Doppelset goes GA. First non-technical user generates a doppel in 11 minutes.
Spring 2025
Vault and SOC 2 Type II
On-prem / VPC edition ships. Doppelset earns SOC 2 Type II and starts the ISO 27001 audit.

Former DPO at a national health service. Wrote the DPIA template now used across half of European public hospitals.
